Trail directions for Loowit Falls, USGS Mount St Helens (1983 ns) is described in "100 Hikes in NW Oregon", pp. 60-61.  The 80 to 100-foot plunge of Paradise Falls, USGS Smith Creek Butte (1983), is a fairly easy bushwhack off of Forest Road 2568, except the road has usually been closed to the general public.
