Update: The upper tier of this entry is now mostly masked by vegetation. From the previous waterfall, ascend 0.3 miles to an unfenced cliffside vista of the lower tier just off the trail. From this point, it's only 0.1 mile to glacial Lower Stevens Lake, then 2.2 miles back down to the trailhead.
